BMU (Module-Level Management) -Passive Balancing
The Passive Balancing BMU measures individual cell voltage and temperature for real-time battery monitoring. It dissipates excess energy from higher-voltage cells through resistive balancing to improve cell consistency, safety and service life. Daisy-chain or CAN interfaces enable communication between BMUs and data transmission to the BCU.
