What core services does ALNERGY deliver?

A: ALNERGY provides core energy-storage components, including BMS, EMS and related control equipment, as well as integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions for commercial, industrial and utility-scale projects across Australia. Final configuration can be selected from our diverse range of options according to project power, voltage and site requirements.

Where does ALNERGY provide services?

A: Based in Brisbane, ALNERGY currently provides services across Australia. For projects in other regions, please contact us to discuss your requirements and available support options.

Does ALNERGY offer customised energy-storage solutions?

A: Yes. Drawing on our BMS and EMS expertise and system-integration capabilities, we can tailor solution configurations to a project’s technical requirements, operating scenario, battery configuration and interface requirements. Final design is confirmed through a project-specific technical assessment.

How do ALNERGY systems interface with PCS, EMS or other control platforms?

A: ALNERGY systems use the BMS for battery-level monitoring, protection and data management, while the EMS supports system-level monitoring and energy dispatch. They can interface with PCS and monitoring platforms through CAN, RS485, Ethernet/LAN and 4G. Depending on the selected product, supported protocols include Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850 and MQTT. Compatibility with third-party equipment is confirmed during solution design.

Can existing energy-storage assets be retrofitted for VPP participation?

A: In most cases, yes. We conduct a technical assessment of your existing hardware, communication interfaces and site conditions. After completing equipment adaptation and platform integration, eligible assets can join a VPP aggregation program and participate in Australian energy market programs.
