Alnergy Partners with Future X to Deepen Cooperation in the Australian Energy Market

Sep 02,2026

On June 11, 2025, during SNEC 2025, the International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition in Shanghai, Alnergy officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Future X Group, an Australian energy services company, at the exhibition booth. Representatives from both companies attended the signing ceremony.

Strategic Partnership|Joining Forces for Australia

Based on a shared understanding of the Australian renewable energy market, particularly the development of energy storage and solar PV, Alnergy and Future X Group will work closely across technology, market development and local operations, following the principles of complementary strengths, resource sharing and mutual benefit.

The cooperation covers utility-scale energy storage, commercial and industrial energy storage, residential energy storage, solar PV systems, microgrid projects and integrated energy systems for industrial parks. The two parties will establish comprehensive cooperation mechanisms covering joint project investment and development, technology development and application, system delivery and localized operations.

According to the cooperation plan, the two parties will jointly advance projects exceeding 1 GWh over the next ten years across key Australian markets, including New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

Future X Group is a local Australian energy services company headquartered in Queensland. Its business covers electricity retail, embedded networks, solar PV and energy storage system integration, EV charging infrastructure and Virtual Power Plants (VPPs). Its businesses include Future X Power, Future X Energy and Silver Asset Services, among others. With more than 100 commercial, industrial and utility-scale renewable energy projects completed, Future X Group has established strong local market and project delivery capabilities.

Combining Strengths|Local Products and Services

With strong R&D capabilities and rigorous quality management, Alnergy has established a global business network spanning more than 60 countries, including the UK, Germany, Italy, Finland, Türkiye, South Africa and Thailand.

The strategic partnership with Future X Group further expands Alnergy’s presence in the Australian market while significantly strengthening its local service capabilities. The two parties will jointly advance the certification and Clean Energy Council (CEC) listing of battery management systems, integrated energy storage systems and microgrid products in Australia.

At the signing ceremony, a representative of Alnergy said:

“Amid the global energy transition, the market is placing increasingly higher demands on the compliance and safety of solar and energy storage products. This is a positive development and precisely the direction in which we will continue to deepen our efforts. At the same time, building local channels, local teams and local service capabilities will be an important pillar of our market expansion strategy. Our partnership with Future X Group represents a deep integration of complementary strengths, and we are confident that it will help us achieve significant growth in both brand influence and market presence in Australia.”

Strong Growth|New Opportunities in the Australian Market

With abundant solar resources and strong policy support, Australia has become one of the world’s fastest-growing renewable energy markets. By the end of 2024, Australia ranked third globally in installed solar PV capacity, with cumulative capacity exceeding 35 GW.

Driven by growing demand, the market is seeing rapid expansion in both utility-scale and commercial and industrial energy storage. Approximately 2.8 GW of utility-scale storage capacity has been commissioned, with the total expected to reach 15 GW by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of more than 30%.

Meanwhile, the commercial and industrial energy storage market is growing even faster, with systems already widely deployed across large industrial parks, commercial centers and other applications. More than 600 MW of C&I energy storage capacity has been deployed, with annual growth reaching 40%.

Against this backdrop, Alnergy will leverage its advanced technology capabilities and extensive global application experience to provide BMS and energy storage solutions for the Australian market, supporting the efficient and safe deployment of local energy storage projects.
